NATIONAL RECOVERY MONTH
Because recovery doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

People need more than the desire to recover. They need the support and resources to make recovery possible.
Because recovery doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

People need more than the desire to recover.

They need safe housing, accessible healthcare, mental health support, transportation, employment, food, childcare, and community.

Recovery is not just about changing a person.

It’s about changing the conditions around them so they have a real opportunity to heal, rebuild, and move forward.
Recovery is real.
Recovery is possible.
Recovery deserves support.

📣📣📣 Hey McCracken County!📣📣📣

September 24th has been designated as Free Naloxone Day nationwide — and we're bringing it home to McCracken County!

Join McCracken ASAP and partnering agencies for Save a Life Day, a free community event dedicated to putting life-saving resources directly in your hands. We'll be set up in the McCracken County Public Library parking lot, distributing FREE Naloxone (Narcan) to anyone who wants it — no questions asked.
Naloxone is a safe, easy-to-use medication that can reverse an opioid overdose and save a life. Having it on hand could make all the difference for someone you love.
In addition to free Naloxone, representatives from multiple local agencies will be on-site to share information about community resources and services available to you and your family.

Event Details:

📅 September 24th, 2026 10am-2pm
🎁 FREE Naloxone (Narcan) — No cost, no barriers

Come by, pick up your Narcan, and learn what's available in your community. Because saving a life starts with being prepared.
We hope to see you there! 💙
