April is here, and QuiltWeek is just around the corner! Please join us on Saturday, April 11th at 10:30 am for our monthly meeting. We will meet in the National Quilt Museum classrooms. We'll do show-and-tell for anyone with recently finished projects to show off, and then have open sew time to work on whatever projects you want.

Happy National/International Quilting Day! What are you working on- drop a comment below!

Happy March! A workshop is taking place at the museum this Saturday, the 14th, so we're moving the meeting to the next Saturday, the 21st at 10:30. It will be a sit-and-sew, so you can bring any project to work on or show-and-tell. This is also National Quilting Day! The museum will be doing demonstrations and hands-on activities in the gallery, so you can to come check out the activities and exhibits, and say 'hi' to several of us who will be in the gallery showing different techniques.

I messaged Jess, Paper Pieces, today about the Apliquick tools and glue. She said she can get them. How many would be interested in tools and/or glue? Post here and we will discuss at February meeting. Thank you Paper Pieces!!

Happy New Year! We will meet this Saturday Jan. 10 at 10:30AM for open sew and a movie.

We’ll start with
show & tell – bring a recent finish or current WIP!

Bring any project you want to work on, or want advice on. As always, irons and ironing boards are available, we have plenty of power strips/cords, the design walls can be pinned into, and tables can be moved around. The classroom is a great space to baste larger quilts if you don't have a lot of room at home, and the design walls are perfect for getting some distance to finalize a layout.

Please contribute $20 or more if you can, so that all of our club members can participate in Quilt Scavengers in 2026.Yo...

Please contribute $20 or more if you can, so that all of our club members can participate in Quilt Scavengers in 2026.

You can make your contribution online at:

Would everyone be interested in doing this as a year-long program for 2026? The program costs $350, so if we can get at least 20 people to each chip in $20 (any extra will go to printing costs), we can all work on earning our own badges next year. Please remember we don't charge any dues to be in the club, $20 is pretty cheap for an entire year!

Quilt Scavengers turns guild activities into an inspiring game of creativity and discovery! Members work on badges and submit completion forms, and the club would celebrate progress by approving badges, hand ingout stickers or buttons, and recognizing milestone achievements.

Members earn:
• Skill Badges for completing quilting challenges and projects
• Demerit Badges for those relatable quilting mishaps (like “Lost Bobbin Chicken”)

This system promotes engagement, builds confidence, and strengthens guild community bonds — all while having fun.
