Meetings are once-a-month on Saturday at 10:30am and held in The National Quilt Museum classrooms. This club is open to quilters and sewists of all skill levels and strives to include individuals who are still working and can’t make meetings during weekday business hours. There are no dues or officers, please feel free to invite friends to join in.

Next meeting is Saturday, August 15 at 10:30 am.

We are NOT meeting the normal 2nd Saturday as the classroom is being used for a workshop on the 8th.

The plan is to work on our Star Wars challenge quilts, or make name tags, after showing off our latest projects.

Sharing a few free Quilt-Alongs spotted this summer for anyone interested! Both connect quilting and American history and our 250th anniversary.

1- a 5-part Block of the Month hosted by Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian. The design of each block is inspired by a different era of United States history, as seen through a Native lens.

2- Fabric of Appalachia: As the country commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we’ll be hosting a nationwide quilt-along to explore “The Fabric of Appalachia" and focusing on hand piecing & hand quilting. Hosted by Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

April is here, and QuiltWeek is just around the corner! Please join us on Saturday, April 11th at 10:30 am for our monthly meeting. We will meet in the National Quilt Museum classrooms. We'll do show-and-tell for anyone with recently finished projects to show off, and then have open sew time to work on whatever projects you want.
