This week, we have been so grateful for the opportunity to share the heart of Beyond Uganda throughout our community.

Our staff had the privilege of speaking at Olivet Baptist Church, sharing about Uganda, the people we serve, and the mission God has placed before us: to educate children, empower women, and restore families through self-sustainability in Jesus Christ.

We have also been thankful for opportunities this week to share our mission with students at Murray State University and with others throughout our community.

It is such a blessing to see God open doors right here at home as we continue to invite others into the work He is doing across the world. Thank you to Olivet Baptist Church, Murray State University, and everyone who has welcomed us, listened, prayed, encouraged, and supported the mission of Beyond Uganda.

We are grateful for every opportunity to tell the story of Uganda and remind our community that together, we can make a difference both locally and globally.

Today, we celebrate you and the incredible heart you have for serving others. Thank you for the love, time, and dedication you pour into Beyond Uganda and for the meaningful work you do alongside the women of our RUTH program.

Your willingness to serve, encourage, and empower women is making a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for all that you do. We pray this next year is filled with abundant joy, blessings, and all the love you so freely give to others.

During home visits with our Treasured Group, Pastor Tony from Heartland Church and our team had the opportunity to spend time with some of the precious elders we serve, meeting them not only in their needs, but right where they are.

When we visited Gertrude, we found her unwell with red, irritated eyes. In that moment, care meant more than simply checking in. Medicine was provided, and prayers were lifted for her healing.

At Beyond Uganda, we believe caring for others means caring for the whole person; body, mind, and spirit. Sometimes that looks like a food package. Sometimes it’s medicine. Sometimes it’s simply sitting together, listening, and praying.

Please join us in continuing to pray for Gertrude’s complete and total healing. May God restore her health and strengthen her in every way!

We are so grateful to Charter Assisted Living for welcoming Beyond Uganda into their community and allowing us to spend a special day serving the wonderful women of Paducah through a little Spa & Glow Day!

A huge thank you to Florista for helping make the day even more beautiful. Because of your generosity, every woman received a gorgeous, real rose, and a special gift packet, including Mary Kay Satin Hands lotion, to remind each woman just how loved and treasured she is.

At the Namayemba Children’s Home, this security wall will help create a safer, more secure place for children to call home, a place where they can play, learn, rest, and simply be kids.

And now, we’re in the final days to make it happen.
