Wait Please!!!!

Friends of Starfish! Our freight elevator (only elevator) has been down for about a month. We have been trying to carry everything up stairs in the heat, and we are drowning in stuff. We deeply appreciate your donations, but we are asking that you hold on to them for a few days, (until further notice) until we get the elevator working again. We are sorry for any inconvenience but we really need you to wait. Thanks for helping us to help children in need! (We are all volunteers, so please be patient with us!)

Starfish Orrphan Ministry is in need of volunteers. We need volunteers to hang clothes out on the shelves and we need some people for maintenance and we still could use an extra driver or two during the week. If you are interested please call 270-519-7340. (Open 10-2 Mon - Thur) if you have just 4 hours, one day a week, that is SUPER helpful!

Starfish Orphan Ministry has been taking people on international mission trips for 20 years! We have a few open spots on 2 trips this fall:

El Salvador October 3-10

Brazil November 6-15

Each traveler pays for their own travel costs and the team raises money together to meet needs on the trips.

If you’ve ever wanted to go and share God’s word while making a difference, this is your chance!

If you have questions, please call 270-519-7340.

Starfish Orphan Ministry is having an underwear crisis! School is starting and teens don’t have underwear! We have also been gifted with children’s watches, brand new in boxes, valued at $20 per watch, but they need batteries. The batteries are very reasonable. We have put underwear and watch batteries on an Amazon Wish List, if anyone could help with any of this, it would be much appreciated! God bless!

Would you be willing to help a child in need and a widow (er) at the same time? We are arranging sunflowers tomorrow at Starfish, then over the next few days, we will deliver them to people who are in need of companionship. Your donations we’ll go to children who Starfish serves, the flowers will go to someone who is likely lonely! James 1:27 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. If you want to support a child in need and an elderly person with flowers, call 270-519-7340 , or visit our website at www.starfishorphanministry.org
