 Starfish Orrphan Ministry is in need of volunteers. We need volunteers to hang clothes out on the shelves and we need some people for maintenance and we still could use an extra driver or two during the week. If you are interested please call 270-519-7340. (Open 10-2 Mon - Thur) if you have just 4 hours, one day a week, that is SUPER helpful!

Starfish Orphan Ministry has been taking people on international mission trips for 20 years! We have a few open spots on 2 trips this fall:

El Salvador October 3-10

Brazil November 6-15

Each traveler pays for their own travel costs and the team raises money together to meet needs on the trips.

Starfish Orphan Ministry is having an underwear crisis! School is starting and teens don’t have underwear! We have also been gifted with children’s watches, brand new in boxes, valued at $20 per watch, but they need batteries. The batteries are very reasonable. We have put underwear and watch batteries on an Amazon Wish List, if anyone could help with any of this, it would be much appreciated! God bless!

Would you be willing to help a child in need and a widow (er) at the same time? We are arranging sunflowers tomorrow at Starfish, then over the next few days, we will deliver them to people who are in need of companionship. Your donations we’ll go to children who Starfish serves, the flowers will go to someone who is likely lonely! James 1:27 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. Starfish Orphan Ministry needs your help! We have had a significant rise in numbers of families coming to us for assistance. We are particularly in need of underwear and diapers for babies. If you can order some from our Amazon wishlist, it would help so much, or if you want to use the list to see examples of what we need, you can buy local and drop it off. Starfish Orphan Ministry is out of diapers in sizes 5,6, and 7, and wipes! also out of Underwear in boys 10-12 and 2, 3, & 4. In Girls we are out of size 5. @
