Lighthouse Youth Center is a para-church organization that reaches youth ages 9-18 in Oxford, PA.

The Lightouse Youth Center is a para-church organization that reaches youth ages 9-18 with the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ. We strive to have a positive Christian impact in each person's life. The Lighthouse Youth Center began in 1988 with a vision of many concerned citizens of the Oxford community. Their goal was to be a friend and share the love of Jesus Christ with youth in the Oxf

ord Area. Our first director and volunteer staff welcomed the young people of Oxford to our game room and snack bar in the storefront district of Oxford. On March 3, 2015 the Lighthouse opened its doors in a brand new facility located a few blocks from the first building. The new facility allows the Lighthouse to serve more youth, and facilitate more programs. The Lighthouse ministry continues to have a positive impact in the Oxford community by expanding our youth programs and blessing as many youth as we can.

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!! 📚✏️📓

Last week we celebrated with our annual back to school party! We gave out tons of school supplies, new backpacks, and Ligthouse t-shirts. There was also a Photo Booth (thanks Sol), dunk tank, inflatable obstacle course, and more!

We also got to spend time looking at Matthew 5:14-16: “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Our prayer this school year is that, in a world that can feel so dark, we would all ‘BE THE LIGHT’💡

Thank you to our friends at the Kennett Bike Project with Kennett Trails Alliance for all the bike fun yesterday! 🚲

They taught our kids how to ride/fix bikes, took them on a bike ride, and gave away 8 bikes!! We’re incredibly grateful for their generosity and we are so proud of our kids for trying new things.

GUPPY GULCH 2026!! 💦☀️🐟

We had such an awesome time yesterday at Guppy Gulch !! We are so proud of our kids for trying new things and having such positive attitudes throughout the day.

(The Ligthouse staff just might need a few more days to recover 😅)

We had such a fun time last week at the Nottingham Park!! The kids got to play soccer, go on hikes, and eat some Wawa hoagies ☀️

What a gift it was to enjoy the sunshine and God’s creation!

GUYS NIGHT last FRIDAY!! ⚽️🏀🍕

The boys had blast with their soccer tournament, basketball contest, playing games, and more!

They also spent some time talking about how they can honor God by honoring women, looking at verses like 1 Timothy 5:2: “Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.”

What a joy it is to have fun and encourage these young men in the Lord!

A few highlights from our GIRLS NIGHT last Friday!!

We had tons of fun with our scavenger hunt, seashell crafts, slushie making and more!!

We also got to spend some time looking at Psalm 139:14: “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” We are all unique but beautiful in God’s eyes, just like seashells 🐚🌊

The Philadelphia Zoo did NOT disappoint yesterday!! 🐒🦍🐅🦓🦒

We had so much fun getting to see all the different kinds of animals. They are just another reminder of how amazing our God is!
