Our mission is to enhance the quality of education in the Oxford Area School District (six public schools) by providing mentoring, tutoring, and classroom volunteers for the students. The Foundation also supports professional grants for the faculty that encourage the development of innovative programs, but do not replicate instructional materials supplied by the school district.

When some students at OAHS wanted to branch out and learn more about mariachi music they went to Dr. Kauppila who was more than excited to help these students take on this new adventure. She reached out to OEF for a professional grant to help pay for some of the needed instruments. We think this was a grant well used. Please enjoy listening to these talented students, and hopefully it helps get your week started in a joyous way.
