🚨 Volunteers needed! 🚨

Our biggest need right now is volunteer delivery drivers to help bring food boxes to neighbors throughout the Talawanda School District. If you have a reliable vehicle and a little time to spare, we’d love to have you on our team.

We also have opportunities for pantry assistants, stockers, receptionists, warehouse helpers, and more.

TOPSS is open this week with our new hours listed below. Don’t forget: all services are now in the back building!

JFS will be on site Monday. They already have a lot of appointments scheduled, so please call ahead to see if they can work you in.

The free Wednesday night community dinner is at the Methodist church this week.

We are in desperate need of volunteers, and our new building shifts are posted at www.topss.org/volunteer. Check us out. We’ll make it fun! Our biggest volunteer need right now is delivery driver.

We could also use donations of tuna and fresh produce. Donations can be dropped off at the far left door of the new building, labeled “Donation Drop-Off.” You can drop off donations any time that we're open.

Don't forget our phones are on the fritz, but if you leave a message, we'll call you right back!

A lot is happening at TOPSS!

We have officially moved, and all services are now operating out of the building at the very back of our property. We’re still getting settled and working out the flow, so thank you for your patience and kindness during this transition 💕

We’re also encouraging everyone to try our new market! Shopping inside is easy, gives you more choice, and we’re gradually moving toward an appointment-based model. Curbside service is still available without an appointment, but with reduced hours.

We’re also having some phone issues right now. If you leave a message, we’ll call you back as soon as possible. We hope to have everything resolved by next week. 🤞

We’re officially in moving week 😅

TOPSS will be CLOSED Monday and Tuesday as we move into our new building at the back of our lot. We are also now CLOSED on Wednesdays, so we will reopen Thursday with new hours and operations.

New Hours:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
10 AM to 6 PM by appointment for pantry shopping and social services

Friday & Saturday
10 AM to 3 PM by appointment

Curbside Shopping:
Tuesday & Thursday: 4 PM to 6 PM
Saturday: 12 PM to 2 PM

Please use the main entrance near the large TOPSS sign for appointments and shopping. Donations and curbside pickup will now use the side entrance of the new building.

We appreciate your patience as we move and get settled. The next few weeks may be a little messy while we adjust, reorganize, and learn our new space, but we’ll do our best to help guide everyone through the changes.

Once we’re settled in, we’ll invite the whole community to a grand opening celebration ❤️

We were almost done for the day when it hit us that this was our last Saturday in our current pantry 🥲 When TOPSS reopens on Thursday, May 28, we’ll officially be operating out of the new building at the back of our property ❤️

Just a reminder that TOPSS will be closed Monday for the holiday and closed Tuesday and Wednesday for our move. When we reopen on Thursday, May 28, we’ll begin our new schedule and operations.

New curbside shopping hours:
Tuesday & Thursday: 4 PM to 6 PM
Saturday: 12 PM to 2 PM

It’s a special night for our Talawanda friends 🎓

A special shoutout to our very own pantry assistant, Andrew Martin, who has been part of the TOPSS team since way back when we were at the end of Withrow St 😅 We are proud of you and excited to see what comes next!

We also want to congratulate Nihal, son of TOPSS staff member Nicola, who has always been willing to pitch in when needed. We appreciate the way you’ve given back to the community, and we wish you the best!

Congratulations to all Talawanda students, especially the many who have volunteered with TOPSS over the years. Best wishes to the entire Class of 2026 🎉

We have no one signed up to volunteer today 😅 Luckily we have some faithful community members coming to our aid this evening. But we could really use some help on Saturday.
