90 years of music. Generations of Miamians. One shared field. 🥁🎺

As the Miami University Marching Band celebrates its 90th anniversary, current drum majors Gail Manning and Lilly Parker sat down with Joel “Earl” Jones ’61 MM ’63 to find out if a MUMB member from 1957 could keep up with the band today.

From paper drill charts to 4:45 a.m. call times, a lot has changed. But the pride, passion and Love and Honor? That’s still going strong.

Miami University’s new CedarTech location is officially open in the Cleveland Innovation District! As the hub for the Urban Bridges initiative, the space will connect students with real-world experiences while creating new opportunities for alumni, faculty, employers, and community partners to engage with Miami.

Building on Miami’s growing partnership with Cleveland Clinic, CedarTech is another exciting step toward connecting Miami talent with opportunities across northeast Ohio.
