Oxford Lions Club

the Oxford community and the surrounding Southewest Ohio region. The Oxford Lions Club meet twice a month from September to May.

Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Larosas (21 Lynn Street). Meetings are held a 6 p.m. The first and last meeting of the year are held outdoors as a Steak Fry. The club has provided Oxford's annual Christmas Tree Sale in Oxford Memorial Park (Uptown) for over 50 years. In addition to the Christmas Tree Sale, the club hosts the annual "Lion Golfer Scramble" and for over 60 years, the club has hosted Oxford's annual Halloween Parade.

The Oxford Lions Club mourns the loss of fellow Lion Steve Snyder, who passed away on June 9, 2026.

For 46 years, Steve faithfully served as a member of our club, dedicating countless hours to helping others and strengthening our community. His commitment to Lionism, his friendship, and his willingness to serve wherever needed left a lasting impact on both our club and the people of Oxford.

Steve embodied our Lions motto, "We Serve," and his legacy will continue through the many lives he touched over the years.

Please join us in keeping Deb, the Snyder family, and all who knew and loved Steve in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you, Steve, for your decades of service, leadership, and friendship. You will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Rest in Peace, my friend.

This Memorial Day, the Oxford Lions Club honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Thank you to TOPSS Board Chair, Suzy Hummel, for speaking with the Lions Club last month and sharing the impact TOPSS has in the Oxford, OH community

The Oxford Lions Club is proud of our continued partnership with TOPSS. This year, we committed $3,500 to support their work and donated 110 pounds of food.

Did you know that TOPSS also works with the Lions Club on eyeglass vouchers, and they host a donation box at TOPSS for old glasses that are recycled through their club. Helping people see clearly and eat well feels like a pretty solid combo 👓
