🐾🍻 Scallywags Friends — Go Show Hops & Hounds Some Love! 🍻🐾

We want to give a shoutout to some friends of ours at Hops & Hounds in Oak Ridge, Tennessee!

Hops & Hounds is an awesome on- and off-leash dog park and craft b**r garden built around creating a safe, fun place for both two-legged and four-legged friends to hang out, play, and socialize.

🐶 The dog park is awesome.
🍔 The food is great.
🍺 The drinks are great.
🐾 And honestly… what more could you ask for?

Supporting small, local businesses—especially ones that create spaces where people and their pups can enjoy time together—is something we’re always happy to get behind.

A HUGE thank you to this amazing couple, Sarah Duncan and Shank ,who stopped by our main foster home with an entire car full of donations for the rescue. ❤️ And when we say the car was full… we mean FULL!!

We didn’t even manage to get a picture of everything because the timing was pure rescue chaos 🙈 animals were coming back from the spay clinic, fosters were arriving for pickups, and everyone was going in different directions.

But honestly, the timing couldn’t have been better. We were able to send several of our fosters home not only with their rescue animals, but with food and supplies to help care for them too.

Rescue really does take a village. We run on donations, fosters, volunteers, and the generosity of people in our community who choose to help. Every bag of food, case of supplies, blanket, toy, and donation takes a little bit of the weight off our shoulders and allows us to keep saying yes to animals who need us.

We are incredibly grateful for people like this who show up and support what we do. Thank you so much for thinking of our animals and our fosters. It truly means more than you know. ❤️🐾

Stella has found her new home ❤️

Stella is a sweet 6-year-old English Springer Spaniel looking for a new home. ❤️

We’re helping her owner find Stella a loving new family due to medical issues that have made it necessary to find her a new home.

👂 Listens well
👧❤️ Loves kids!
Stella absolutely LOVES stuffed animals and dog toys! 🧸🐶 She carries one with her everywhere she goes. ❤️
Stella does have a little food guarding around other dogs. She may growl if another dog gets too close to her food, but she does not fight. Her new family should simply be aware of this and give her space while she eats.
Overall, Stella is a sweet girl who loves her people, loves kids, and is ready to find a family of her own. 🏡❤️

Meet Ziggy & Zoe! 🐾💕

These sweet 5-month-old siblings are playful, cuddly, and ready for forever homes! They may be shy at first, but once they warm up, they’re total lovebugs. 🥹

They don’t have to be adopted together, but each would love a playful cat friend!

This is Wally. ❤️

When Wally first came into rescue, he was so sad, scared, and unsure of the world around him. He needed so much help, patience, and love.

It took time. A lot of time. He slowly learned that hands could be gentle, that people could be trusted, and that he was safe. His fosters never gave up on him. They gave him the time and space he needed to come out of his shell and become the cat he was always meant to be.

And then came his forever dad. ❤️

Someone who had followed Wally’s journey, believed in him, and was willing to wait for him.

Now look at him. 🥹

From a scared, sad boy who needed so much help… to a happy, loved cat thriving in his forever home.

This is why we rescue. This is why we foster.

Because sometimes an animal just needs someone to believe in them long enough for them to discover how wonderful life can be. 🐾❤️

Wally’s story is a reminder that the animals who need us the most can have the most incredible happily-ever-afters.

🧡 Meet Otto 🧡

Otto is an orange and white boy who has been patiently waiting for his forever home at Pet Supplies Plus in Willow Street for weeks now. 🥺

He’s watched kittens come and go… watched them find their families and head off to their new homes… while he’s still sitting there waiting for someone to choose him. 💔

Otto is a sweet, gentle boy who can be a little nervous at first. He just needs someone willing to give him a little time to feel safe and show them what a wonderful cat he really is. 🐾❤️

He may not be the tiny kitten everyone notices first, but Otto has just as much love to give — and he deserves his happily ever after too. 🏡

We have the best update from our cat yoga fundraiser… Hermione got adopted! 🥹🧘‍♀️🐾

Apparently she decided the event wasn’t actually just about yoga.. it was about finding her person! She picked a mat, planted herself there, and no matter what yoga position changed, Hermione was right there moving along with her. 😂

Safe to say, she chose her human and her human chose her. ❤️

And judging by these pictures from her new home, she’s pretty pleased with her decision… especially with her new dog sibling😅

Happy life, Hermione. We think you absolutely nailed this one. 🥹💕

A huge thank you to The Yoga Cove for hosting such a fun Cat Yoga fundraiser for us this past Saturday!!🐾🧘‍♀️

All proceeds from the event benefited our rescue, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out, stretched, laughed, got climbed on, and accepted that personal space was no longer part of the class. 🙈😂
We had such a great time and already can’t wait for the next one!!! If you missed this event, make sure you don’t miss the next!!🐾

Our surprise babies are growing up fast! These two little boys are **almost 2 weeks old** and will be ready to find their forever home soon. 🥹🐹

They need **just one more week with Mom**, and then they can go **together to their new home**! 💙💙

We’re looking for a loving home where these little guys can grow up together and be spoiled rotten. 🥰
