These ancient paths aren’t just the old way of doing things but the path that is eternal and blessed.
We get deceived into thinking there are better paths. Like we know better. Like we as sheep have no more use for our shepherd.
But a good shepherd needs to be there to protect and warn the sheep, keep them from going astray

We don’t need to go along to get along. We bow for no one but the Lord.

This young Scottish refused to participate in a prayer demonstration during a visit to a mosque. The trip was reportedly intended to teach children about different religions and cultures.

This is a young Shadrach, Meshach, or Abednego right here!! Many adults wouldn’t have the guts to do this under the guise of “we just don’t want to offend anyone—we’re not actually praying or worshiping. God will understand.”

If our brothers weren’t bowing to statues even though everyone else was doing it, I’m not bowing to some false god I can’t see just because everyone else is. These things are serious! Church, take a lesson from this child. DO NOT BOW!

It doesn’t mean hymn books and suits on Sunday morning.
It doesn’t mean we pretend the last hundred years didn’t happen.

The Hebrew word behind ancient is olam. And olam doesn’t just mean old.
