We're growing again!! And we have some pretty exciting news to share! ❤️

Please help us give a BIG CASA welcome to Brittany Lang, our newest Volunteer Coordinator and the THIRD member of our CASA staff!

Brittany joined us earlier this month, and we couldn't be more excited to have her on our team! She comes to CASA with a background in education, having previously worked as a kindergarten teacher, as well as experience with the United States Postal Service. She's kind, compassionate, a wonderful communicator, and has a heart for helping others. Outside of work, Brittany stays busy with her family, farming, showing livestock, and being involved in her local 4-H program and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Brittany is currently learning the ins and outs of CASA and will be working alongside Cait and me to help train, supervise, and support our amazing CASA volunteers.

But here's the part that REALLY has us excited! Adding Brittany to our team means we'll be able to take on an additional 15 cases! That's 15 more children who will have the opportunity to have a CASA volunteer standing beside them, advocating for their needs, and making sure their voices are heard.

When I started with CASA in April 2023, we were a one-person office serving just FIVE children. Today, we're a team of THREE serving more than 30 children, with the potential to grow to 45! I can't even begin to tell you how exciting that is!

We've worked hard to get to this point, and we're so grateful for the community support that has helped make this growth possible. There are still children waiting for a CASA volunteer, and we're not done growing!

Welcome to the CASA family, Brittany! We are SO happy you're here, and we can't wait to see all the good things ahead!!! 😀

We had a great night Saturday at our Halloween BINGO in Coffey County!! If you were able to join us and have more fun photos, please feel free to post them in the comments - we'd love to see them!! A HUGE thank you to our Coffey County board members - Mike Roney., Brittany Hawkins, and Stefani Britton - for all of the work you did to put this awesome event on for CASA. And another HUGE thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who made prize and food donations. And then one more HUGE thank you to all of the folks who came out and played BINGO with us all night!! We're already looking forward to next year's event!!!
