I would like to thank the 20 trail volunteers who made it out to Mills Creek Woodlands to finish up all the trail maintenance for the week.
It was a long week building the new Mills Creek Bridge and finally the crew today cut the grass and painted blazes.

Next up: LBESF SnowHill Rd. 9/23 @ 8:45am

🔥 Trail Mix cookout in the books! What a way to close out the season at Geneva Wilderness Area!

Jerry owned that grill 🍔, Doug’s taco salad was legendary (you know if you know), and Kelley made sure everyone felt welcome from the moment they walked in. Chris did a beautiful job presenting — and the kind words David shared about him genuinely hit different. 🥹

So grateful for this chapter and everyone who makes it what it is. See you in September! 🍂🌿

We try to lead hikes monthly with our local chapter and I was really excited to share this one as some sections had just become public. We had a small group with big smiles. 🌿 Long Branch Preserve did not disappoint — shady canopy, beautiful trails, majestic owls, and yes… the bugs were real. Glad everyone came prepared! As we head into the warmer months, the early morning start is your best friend. See you on the trail! 🥾☀️
