Here are some pictures from this year's NAMI Oshkosh 5K for Mental Health & Su***de Awareness that took place on May 3 at the Oshkosh North High School Fieldhouse.

We hosted several mental health-based organizations, a great inspiring young speaker who spoke eloquently about her lived experience, mascots, a balloon artist, a face painter, and gift basket raflles.

Most importantly, we had 429 people come together to promote that our community believes in mental health, su***de prevention and awareness.

Another Crisis Intervention Team training for police officers was completed today. The officers from Oshkosh Police Department and Winnebago County, Wisconsin Sheriff’s Office were invested in learning about mental illness and ways to handle a person experiencing a mental health crisis.
