Today we had the privilege of visiting the ladies of Tangled Threads from the New Carlisle United Methodist Church. These are the wonderful ladies who make many of the items we bless our vets with. We picked up lots of blessings today and were blessed by these lovely ladies who also love our veterans. Not only do these ladies use their talents to make gifts, each item is place on the altar, blessed and the unknown recipients are prayed for by the church members before the items are gifted! Thank you, Tangled Threads!

Mark your calendars now to join us on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. for a pre-Veterans’ Day celebration. Please note the starting time of 10:00 a.m. This will be our FINAL Bless A Vet Day event held at the at the Jackie Walorski VA Clinic.

There will not be any food at the event. However, we will have plenty of personal care items and other gifts to bless you with!

Tell all your veteran friends and plan to attend so we can bless our veterans one last time at the Jackie Walorski VA Clinic!

Please also come visit us at Mission BBQ on Main Street in Mishawaka on Veterans’ Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2026. The event starts at 11:00 a.m. Come let us bless you and also receive a free sandwich from Mission BBQ if you are a veteran or are active duty serving our country!

We had so much fun blessing veterans yesterday at the Marshall County Stand Down! Coffee, hot chocolate, cocoa, chai latte, s’mores, tea, soup and more…everything to stay warm this winter! A special thanks to yesterday’s volunteers: Cindy, Paul, Steve, and Becky (who ground a full trunk load of coffee beans and transported them to the location)!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: In order to dispel any misconceptions and rumors, The Walorski Family Foundation, Inc. issues the following statement:

The Walorski Family Foundation, Inc. was NOT asked to leave the Jackie Walorski VA Clinic. A difference of opinion between the Foundation and the VA resulted in The Walorski Family Foundation CHOOSING to step away from our sponsorship of the coffee bars and the Bless A Vet events for the immediate future.

We are very grateful for the support the VA has provided to us over the past several years.

Discussions with the VA are continuing and both sides are hopeful for a mutually beneficial resolution. During this time, neither The Walorski Family Foundation nor its volunteers will be speaking with the media.

We respectfully request that you refrain from engaging in speculation and instead, keep both the VA and our Foundation in your prayers.

We love our veterans and will keep you apprised of our events and their locations.

IMPORTANT NOTICE! Tomorrow will most likely be our last Bless A Vet Day held at the Jackie Walorski VA Clinic. We have spent the day loading Kermit 2 to the gills to make tomorrow special for our veterans.

In addition to our multitude of Game Day items, we are bringing all of our inventory including patriotic and seasonal decor. You will not want to miss this event!

We are exploring other options and other venues around the Bend where we can continue blessing you. We will be at the Marshall County Military Stand Down at the Autopark Sports Complex, 2923
Vanvactor Drive in Plymouth on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mark your calendars now to join us there.
