A Child's Hope Foundation

Donors like you are elevating the way the world cares for orphaned children. We’re here because we believe every child has the right to thrive.

Your donations help orphanage directors create family style environments so kids can flourish and contribute positively as adults. 100% of donations go directly to the kids. We are dedicated to providing hope and healing for orphaned children in developing countries throughout the world. Here’s how we do it:

1. We help children heal from abuse and neglect. Because most kids in orphanages have previously been abused and neglected, our therapists and tutors create individualized plans to help each child heal from trauma, learn, and grow up to be happy, healthy adults.

2. We help strengthen orphanage directors. We create Orphanage Improvement Roadmaps to connect orphanage directors with the funding, training and volunteer support they need to succeed.

3. We magnify the impact of every donation. We use the Thrive Assessment to determine the projects that will have the biggest impact in the lives of the orphans we serve. We collaborate with orphanage directors to find the best way to help them achieve their mission. We’re there to support them for the long haul, and we have the systems and local leadership needed to do that effectively. Together with donors like you, we are systematically lifting caregivers to be the best they can be, so orphans can thrive all over the world. We are helping them to build safer, healthier, happier environments so the kids can flourish and contribute positively as adults. Because all of our overhead is paid for by grants, 100% of donations go directly to the kids.

Nothing bring a team together like a staff trip! For us, that looked like learning more about our partners and how they're caring for orphaned and vulnerable children, doing service as a team, eating many (MANY) tacos, playing with the sweetest kids, and strengthening our team's bonds!

It was a fantastic week and we came away feeling more resolved to elevate how the world cares for orphaned and vulnerable children.

Ongoing mental health support is helping children and adolescents at Casa Hogar Sion navigate challenges, build confidence, and develop healthy ways to express their emotions.

With access to individual and group counseling, children receive the support they need to grow emotionally. The psychologist also works with the caregiving team, equipping them to better understand and respond to each child’s needs.

For Andrea, this support has made a meaningful difference as she navigates difficult changes in her life. Through regular counseling, she is learning to understand her emotions, manage anger, and develop healthy coping strategies.

Because of the support behind these services, Andrea and many other children at Casa Hogar Sion have a safe space to work through challenges and build a stronger future.

When Renata arrived at Casa Hogar Sion partway through the school year, she ran into a problem: local schools nearby had already entered exam season and stopped accepting new students. She needed another way to keep her education moving forward.

Because of your donations, which fund assessment fees, tutoring, and educational support at Casa Hogar Sion, Renata was able to take a placement evaluation and begin working toward her middle school certificate. No child should lose the chance at an education just because of timing, and your support made sure Renata didn't have to.

She went on to complete all five required academic projects and passed her evaluation, earning the certificate. This achievement opened the door to high school and the next chapter of her education.

Thanks to your support, children like Renata get the chance to keep learning, even when the path forward isn't easy to find.

A few moments from an unforgettable night. ✨

This year's theme, Roots of Hope, Branches of Brilliance, wasn't just the decor. It reflected the heart of the evening. Every child starts with roots: a safe place, a caregiver who shows up, and the support they need to thrive. What grows from those roots is up to them, but together, we can help make sure the foundation is fertile.

From meaningful conversations and inspiring stories to celebrating the impact made possible through this community, the Give Hope Gala was a reminder of what can happen when people come together on behalf of children.
