Friends, the 2026 EA2EVL Fondo was a marvel! The fine weather forecast boosted our attendance, bringing our rider number a little higher than last year's. We won’t know the actual dollar amount raised for a few weeks, but the photos taken by ECRT volunteers are ready for viewing here and now. If you have 2026 Fondo photos to contribute, please email them to [email protected]. The professional photographer’s photos will be added to this album as soon as we receive them, so check back again in a week or so!
Riders and visitors attending the Holiday Valley after-party complimented all the volunteers as being friendly and kind. They said the event was impeccably run and were impressed with every aspect.
The Mongoose Malus fat-tire bike raffle was a significant booster to our fundraising effort, so many thanks to everyone who bought tickets to help the cause. The winner of the bike was a woman who bought a ticket because her daughter recently moved back to WNY from Boston, where the daughter's bike had been stolen. The mom took a chance as a way to replace her daughter's stolen bike. What a great story!
This is a huge event, and a real team effort. ECRT is grateful to our generous event sponsors, donors and riders, especially to our incredible volunteers, who made sure the water stops were lively and colorful, and appropriately noisy with cheers for the riders.
Thank you to all! This was a successful event, and a fun one for everyone.
