🐾 A Peek Into Treats Tuesday! 🍎

One of the best parts of Treats Tuesday is getting to have fun with the animals while trying out recipes from our OCL recipe book! This week we spent some time in the kitchen creating a special treat, and we had an absolute blast watching everyone enjoy it.

We love being able to provide enrichment activities like this for the animals in our care. Not only are the treats delicious, but they help keep minds active, build confidence, and create happy moments while our pets wait for their forever homes. ❤️

It's back—and it's BIGGER than ever!

The Maude Schiffley SPCA of Orangeburg is excited to announce our 2026 Mega Yard Sale, happening on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the shelter!

Get ready to shop hundreds of items, hunt for hidden treasures, score amazing bargains, and support homeless animals all at the same time. Every purchase made helps provide food, medical care, enrichment, and second chances for the dogs and cats in our care.

We're also beginning to accept donations for the sale! If you're cleaning out closets, garages, storage buildings, or spare rooms, consider donating your gently used items to help make this our biggest fundraiser yet.

🎉🐾❤️ MOLLY'S RESCUE JOURNEY HAS BEGUN! ❤️🐾🎉

Last Friday, after more than THREE YEARS with us, Molly finally got the opportunity she has been waiting so patiently for. 🥹❤️

Molly arrived at our shelter in March of 2023. Through every season, every event, every adoption, and every new furry friend that came through our doors, Molly remained hopeful that one day it would be her turn. 🐕✨

And now... that day has finally come! 🎊🚐🐾

While there were definitely tears as we watched her leave, they were happy tears. ❤️😭 Seeing a long-term resident get the chance for a fresh start is one of the greatest joys in animal welfare.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to our incredible rescue partners in New York! 🗽🐾❤️ Without dedicated rescue organizations willing to step up for dogs like Molly, stories like this simply wouldn't be possible. We are so grateful for your partnership, compassion, and commitment to giving deserving dogs a second chance. 🙌🐶💕

🍎🐾 Treats Tuesday! 🐾🍌

Today's snack was a tail-wagging favorite: apple donuts topped with peanut butter and banana! 😋 Our pups were more than happy to help us taste-test these sweet treats, and we think it's safe to say they were a hit.

A huge thank you to the Orangeburg County Library for lending a hand and helping us pass out these special goodies. We love partnering with organizations that help make our shelter pets feel extra loved. ❤️📚

Who else thinks every Tuesday should come with snacks this good? 🐶🍎🍌

🍝🐾 NO BALLS, JUST SPAGHETTI! 🐾🍝

It's BACK!

The Maude Schiffley SPCA is excited to announce our annual Spay'ghetti Dinner fundraiser on Thursday, August 27, 2026!

For just $10, you'll get a delicious meal featuring spaghetti, salad, and bread while helping provide food, medical care, shelter, and second chances for the animals who call the SPCA home.

🐾💙 Happy Father's Day from all of us at the Maude Schiffley SPCA of Orangeburg! 💙🐾

Today we want to celebrate all of the dads who make a difference—whether you're a father to children, a devoted pet parent, a foster dad, a volunteer, or someone who simply opens your heart to animals in need.

Thank you for every early morning walk, every muddy paw print cleaned up, every transport, repair project, donation, adoption, and act of kindness that helps make our mission possible.

A special thank you to the fathers who help our shelter behind the scenes, building, fixing, transporting, and supporting both people and animals when they need it most. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

❤️ A Huge Thank You ❤️

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Simpson, Mr. Ramirez, and Mrs. Ramirez for organizing, setting up, running, and breaking down our Mini Yard Sale yesterday.

Without their dedication, this event simply would not have been possible. They spent their entire day—from sunrise to sundown—working tirelessly to make sure everything was ready, helping customers throughout the event, and staying until the very end to clean up.

Even with temperatures reaching 95 degrees, they never slowed down and continued to support our mission and the animals who depend on us.
