William Walker with the The One Man delivered a great message on leadership and priorities in our lives today.

I am thankful to be surrounded by like-minded individuals who share a commitment to serving our community. Today’s message reminded us of the importance of staying focused on what matters most, remaining true to our purpose, and continuing to lead with intention as we serve others. Service above self!

What a great meeting! We enjoyed hearing from Laura Leigh Chesser with Opelika Parks and Recreation about all they have accomplished over the past couple of years and the exciting plans they have for the years ahead.

We also celebrated some wonderful news from our member Jack, who proudly shared the birth of his great-granddaughter! She must have brought him a little extra luck because Jack also won the raffle and was excited to put his winnings toward starting her college fund. ❤️

What a special day filled with community updates, exciting plans, and a little extra reason to celebrate! 💙💛

Join us Tuesdays at noon at Nonprofit Center of East Alabama.

Opelika Rotary came together for a Food Bank Backpack Packing Night to help ensure children in Lee County have access to food when they need it most. ❤️

Through the generosity of our donors and sponsors, Opelika Rotary is able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children and families. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and makes service like this possible. Together, we are making a difference in our community, one backpack at a time!

Dr. Kevin Davis provided an extremely informative and insightful presentation, giving our members a closer look at the exciting opportunities, challenges, and plans ahead for Opelika’s students and schools.

We are grateful to Dr. Davis for taking the time to share his knowledge and vision with our club. Our community is fortunate to have leaders who are committed to preparing our students for a bright future!

The Opelika Rotary Club was honored to hear from Shelley Aistrup and learn more about the incredible work of the Hope Namungo Project.

Hope Namungo partners with the people of Namungo Village, Uganda, to improve access to education, clean water, and healthcare—helping create brighter opportunities and a stronger future for the community.

We are grateful to Shelley for sharing this meaningful mission with us and for giving our club the opportunity to learn more about how service can make a lasting difference around the world.
