Does anyone have a wheelchair(s) they would like to donate to our PENGUIN PROJECT PROGRAM for special needs individuals to use during our rehearsals & performances? We NEED YOU on OUR TEAM!!!

Tomorrow - Thursday Sept. 10th from 5:30 to 7:00 join OCT for the most fulfilling and meaningful experience you will have. Alabama Chapt. #2 of the National Penguin Project Foundation needs Artists & Mentors - ages 5 yrs to 101 + to join our PENGUIN PALS, PENGUIN TROUPE & PENGUIN PLAYERS.

This program was founded 25 yrs ago by Neurologist Pediatrician, Dr. Andy Morgan, for individuals who are neurologically, developmentally, physically, psychologically and mentally challenged pairing them with neuro-typical mentors in their peer groups to afford them the opportunity to experience “live theatre “ & “ the performing arts”.

This Program is a Community Outreach Program provided for these individuals and their families and is absolutely ‘ FREE ‘ to all participants. No experience is necessary.

First class session of the season is tomorrow - THURSDAY - SEPT. 10 from 5:30-7:00 pm cst.

Current students who serve as mentors have receive community service hours that enhance college and employment resumes and opportunities.

The PENGUINS are becoming well-known in the community and public sector and will make appearances at festivals and events beginning in October.

Opelika Community Theatre is located at 1220 Fox Run Ave. , Suite 216.
