We would like to introduce Ms. Janessa Henry. Janessa, is our first recipient of the Good Citizenship Award. Each month the Teachers and Staff submit one name of a student that has shown exemplary behaviors and went above and beyond to show Christian qualities to their peers and other around them. They have stepped up and stood out. They have shown leadership skills, empathy, understanding and have a servants heart toward their school, peers and communities. She was awarded with a $25 gift card for the Capitol 3 theater to enjoy a movie with her friends or family.

Ms. Janessa we are proud to call you a student at Landmark Christian Academy! Keep up the good work.

Our 1st party day of the new school year is in the books! We had an amazing selection of things for show and tell, the younger kids got to enjoy a movie and treats while the older ones got a little messy, and the middle guys got to choose between the two. Then we had PIZZA !

We are beyond excited about this one!

We love aviation, we support aviation, and we are thrilled to see EAA Chapter 1644 bringing the Young Eagles Rally to the Scott County Airport on October 31.

Kids ages 8–17 will have the opportunity to experience a free airplane ride and see aviation from a whole new perspective.

And who knows? With TCAT’s Aviation Maintenance Technology training coming to Scott County soon, one of these Young Eagles could be a future pilot, aviation maintenance technician, or begin a career in an aviation field they haven’t even dreamed about yet.

Sometimes all it takes is one experience to spark an interest and open a whole new world of possibilities.

We’re trying to keep our feet on the ground over this one, but it’s not going very well.

What a great opportunity for our young people and for the future of aviation in Scott County!
