📢 Important Community Update
After many years of serving the Hmong community through the Hmong Outreach Center, we want to share that the program will be closing effective June 30, 2026.
This change is the result of statewide behavioral health funding and service changes under California’s Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA), which has shifted priorities and funding toward individuals with the most severe behavioral health needs. As a result, programs such as the Hmong Outreach Center are no longer being funded in their current form.
We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to have served our community through support groups, wellness activities, outreach services, education, and connection. It has been an honor to walk alongside so many individuals and families over the years.
Current clients have been contacted regarding available transition options and ongoing services. We remain committed to helping ensure a smooth transition for those who continue to need support.
Although the Hmong Outreach Center program will be closing, this page will remain active. We will continue to share community resources, mental health information, local events, and other updates that may be helpful to our community members. While the center itself will no longer be operating, we hope this page can continue to serve as a source of information and connection.
Thank you to our community partners, families, and participants for your trust, support, and friendship throughout the years. The relationships, memories, and impact of this program will not be forgotten.
