Huge congrats to Blue Zones Project Yuba Sutter for the Blue Zones certification for Yuba Sutter! We are so grateful to Blue Zones for believing in our idea from the very beginning. They helped us connect with community leaders, organizations, and partners. They organized meetings and introduced us to people who could help us move from an idea to action. They included us in meetings with blue zones leaders and representatives from outside our region, allowing us to share our project and learn from others. They treated us like young leaders and gave us a seat at the table. Blue Zones taught us networking and communication skills that we will use for the rest of our lives.
Thank you, Blue Zones, because you helped us succeed with our fridge. You did not just support a project; you helped two young girls turn an idea into something that continues to serve our community. Thank you for helping us become better people and instilling skills in us that we will use forever. You truly have empowered us to live better.
