🌿 Mvskoke Traditions Summer Camp is BACK — and registration is NOW OPEN! 🌿

We’re excited to welcome youth back for Mvskoke Traditions: A 4‑H Summer Day Camp Experience on July 30–31 at the College of the Muscogee Nation here in Okmulgee.

This two-day camp is all about:
✨ Cultural learning
🎯 Traditional games
🎨 Hands-on creativity
🤝 Connection and community

A few things to know:

Open to tribal & non-tribal youth (grades 3rd–12th)
Free to attend (meals included)
Limited spots — first come, first served. A waitlist will be maintained.

Here are a few pictures from last night’s Mvskoke 4-H Ocmulgee Club meeting!

We had a great evening in the garden as we begin wrapping up our very first year as a club. Members enjoyed exploring the garden, painting rocks to place around our flower bed, making s’mores, and taking part in our watermelon-eating contest. Congratulations once again to Monte for successfully defending his championship title!

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening a success. It has been exciting to watch this club grow during its first year, and we appreciate the support of all our members, families, volunteers, and partners who have helped make it possible.

We have one club meeting remaining this club year, and it will be held on June 16. We hope to see everyone there as we celebrate a successful first year and look ahead to the future of the club!

🌻🔥 Join Us Tomorrow for a Relaxing Evening at the Garden! 🔥🌻

Mvskoke 4-H: Ocmulgee Club will meet tomorrow, June 2, at 6:00 PM at the Mvskoke Cultural Community Garden on the CMN Campus.

This month will be a laid-back, family-friendly gathering focused on enjoying the garden, spending time together, and celebrating all the great things our club has accomplished this year.

We'll be:
🌻 Checking on our flower beds and sunflowers
🎨 Painting rocks to decorate the club garden
🍉 Enjoying watermelon, s'mores, and fellowship around the fire
🤝 Meeting our new club leader, Ms. Trisha Bailey
🍀 Sharing updates on upcoming 4-H opportunities, project work, and the Mvskoke Foodways Festival

Parents and family members are encouraged to attend.

Don't forget to bring a lawn chair!
