On Monday evening, the Troop gave back to Okmulgee First Assembly of God by removing the previous flooring so they can prepare for new flooring!

We are thankful to OFA for being our chartered organization and graciously letting us have our meetings, lock ins, etc at the church and always supporting scouting where they can!

Troop 102 "Can Do": A Weekend of Service and Fellowship at Greenleaf
​Troop 102 is pleased to report another highly successful campout! We are especially proud of our scouts who devoted time to the Greenleaf State Park conservation project. Thank you for demonstrating true leadership and service by immediately assisting the camp host when asked.
​This weekend was instrumental in developing and strengthening core skills, focusing on friendship, fellowship, and servant leadership. We had fun and gave back to the community by completing an important service project while learning about the history and ecology of the land we enjoyed.
​The culinary team was outstanding! The meals were excellent, featuring everything from hearty breakfast burritos to cheeseburgers with homemade fries, and unforgettable twice-fried chicken wings alongside loaded baked potatoes. Our troop is clearly home to some great chefs! Greenleaf State Park proved to be the perfect setting.
​To all our Parents and Leaders: I am deeply humbled and immensely grateful for the countless hours you allow me to spend mentoring and fostering positive growth in our youth and adult members. Thank you for your support; may you all be blessed.

Today Cub Scout Pack 102 and Troops 102/102G celebrated scouting with Scout Sunday and Blue and Gold celebration at their gracious chartered organization, Okmulgee First Assembly of God! We thank everyone involved for all that you do to make scouting fun and successful for our scouts. Words cannot fully express the positive impact made in this journey. Special thanks to Scoutmaster, Donnie for the cake and refreshments!

Scout family, our hearts are heavy at the departure of Mr. Ron Stokley from this life. Mr. Ron, as many of us know him, was a dedicated scouter, mentor and friend to many. He remained positive and dedicated to those young and old, even during his own trying times. Okmulgee Pack and Troop 102 will miss you greatly. We are forever grateful for your service.

"Adapt to adjust and overcome." Troop 102 pushed through obstacles and persevered. Some of our amazing scouts completed the 20 mile hiking merit badge this weekend. And we can't forget about our younger guys who stepped up and completed 15 miles! It wasn't easy and I know everyone was tired but you did it. Troop 102 can do! Good job everyone and I look forward to our next adventure!

Saturday evening bowling was a success...Scouting America, Troop 102 youth and adult leadership had a great time bowling along with Troop 102G, Pack 102 and friends! Special thanks to Henryetta Main Street Bowl for being great hosts! 🎳

Troop 102 Oklahoma (Indian Nations Council,) would like to express sincere appreciation for your hospitality, acts of kindness, etc. Special thanks to our friends Shelly from the trading post, Chris Green, Mark Randall, Ted H., Ryan, Gen (Genevieve), Liam, Benton and Joe Donta'! Camp Strake has definitely been a hit with our troop!

Our Scouts never cease to amaze me...Memorial Day is more than just another day off to sleep in and BBQ. This is a day that we remember those who have fought for our freedom and died in the line of duty. The Scouts participated in multiple events this year. Troop 102G did a wonderful job at Okmulgee Cemetery in their remembrance ceremony. This was a first time experience for this troop and they did great! The day finished up at Floral Havens Avenue of Flags where the Scouts participated in a large scale event lowering and folding nearly 5,000 full size memorial flags closing the cemetery's multiple day memorial event. Thank you to everyone who participated in these events, your participation does not go unnoticed!

We are thankful for some awesome Scouts and volunteers. Without you this wouldn't have been a successful camping experience for the Cub Scouts! Thank you all for your true dedication.
