●The Reflection: Humility recognizes that the future belongs to God. Avoid self-promotion or building our lives around assumptions of tomorrow.
🙏🏿Faithful Wounds From A Friend
●The Principle: "Faithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy"
●The Reflection: True friendship requires honest, constructive feedback rather than empty flattery. Just as "iron sharpens iron", Godly friends help shape and challenge one another toward wisdom.
🙏🏿Reflecting The Heart
●The Principle: "As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart".
●The Reflection: External choices, time, and responses under pressure reveal what is truly inside. Take a regular inventory of our heart, motives, and daily habits to ensure they align with our FAITH.
🙏🏿Diligent Stewardship
●The Principle: "Be sure we know the condition of our flocks, give careful attention to our herds".
●The Reflection:
Faithfulness shows up in the day-to-day responsibilities of work, family, and provision. In any season, stay grounded in what sustains our household.
ACTON STEPS
●Focus On today: Trust God with our future plans and focus our energy entirely on being faithful with today's tasks.
●Sharpen One Another: Reach out to a trusted, Godly friend today and invite them to speak honest truth into our lives.
●Check Our Stewardship: Spend a few minutes reviewing a current responsibility—like our work or Financial Plan —to ensure it is managed well.
PRAYER
Lord, give us the humility to let go of tomorrow and faithfully steward today. Bring honest friends into our lives who will sharpen our character, and give us a heart ready to listen andhelp us to be that friend. Amen.

Proverbs 26 teaches on three main character flaws: the fool, the sluggard (lazy person), and the gossip (troublemaker).
Key Principles
🙏🏿Handling Fools
Solomon says that honor does not fit a fool, much like snow in summer.
Do not answer a fool according to his folly (so we don't sink to his level), yet do answer him (so he doesn't think he is wise).
Solomon give us an image worthy of our attention: "As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly"—warning against cycling back into the same sinful or senseless habits.
🙏🏿The Sluggard
The lazy person makes endless excuses ("there is a lion in the road"), rolls in bed like a door on its hinges, and is too spiritually complacent, to even feed themselves.
Worst of all, the sluggard thinks they are wiser than seven people who give sensible advice.
🙏🏿Gossip And Conflict
Meddling in someone else's argument is compared to grabbing a stray, angry dog by the ears.
Just as fire goes out when wood runs out, strife stops when a gossip or whisperer leaves.
ACTION STEPS
●Check Our Pride: Do we resist wise counsel because we think we already know best?
●Make Jesus Known Everywhere
●Break The Cycle: Is there a recurring mistake, temper flare, or bad habit we keep repeating like the dog in verse 11?
●Ask God for the grace to truly break away from it rather than returning to comfort zones of sin.
●Guard Our Words: Look at how we speak about others today. Are we adding "wood" (gossip) to a fire, or are we acting as a peacemaker?
Father God
Grant us the wisdom today to avoid the traps of folly, laziness, and conflict. Keep our feet from returning to past mistakes and habits that honor You. Guard our lips against gossip, and let our words bring peace rather than fuel a fire. Humble our hearts so that we are always ready to listen to wise counsel instead of being wise in our own eyes.

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance and advantage, but everyone who acts in haste comes surely to poverty.”
God teaches us that financial stability requires planning, discipline, and wise decisions.
We cannot expect our finances to improve if we spend carelessly, ignore debt, or fail to prepare for the future. "Handling Money God’s Way"means being intentional about how we earn, spend, save, give, and plan.
Financial freedom begins when we stop allowing money to control us and start managing what God has entrusted to us with wisdom and faithfulness.

A good name is more valuable than silver or gold. Rich and poor are created by the same God.

🙏🏿Peace Over Plenty
Better is a dry morsel with quietness than a house full of feasting with strife. Material wealth and luxury cannot fix a home filled with anger and argument. True richness is a peaceful, loving atmosphere.
🙏🏿Guarding The Heart And Speech The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and the Lord tests hearts. God examines our inner motives just as fire purifies metal. Meanwhile, whoever covers an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates close friends, reminding us to practice grace and avoid gossip.
🙏🏿True Friendship
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. Faithful friends do not vanish when life gets hard; they step up to support and carry burdens through trials.
Make Jesus Known Everywhere

🙏🏿HUMAN PLANS VS. DIVINE DIRECTION
To a man belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the reply of the tongue and In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. We have the freedom to make plans, but God holds the ultimate direction and final outcome.
🙏🏿MOTIVES & SELF-JUSTIFICATION
All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. We easily excuse our own behavior, but God sees the true condition of our hearts.
🙏🏿COMMITMENT AND ACTION Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. True surrender means aligning our daily work and goals with His character.
🙏🏿PRIDE VS. HUMILITY
Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. It is better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud.
🙏🏿THE POWER OF SPEECH Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Wise and kind communication brings life and health to others.

●Soft vs. Harsh: A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Gentle, calm, and well-timed words defuse conflict, whereas impulsive or aggressive speech escalates tension.
●Life-Giving vs. Crushing: A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. Words have the power to either build people up or deeply wound them.
●Thoughtful Timing: Wisdom means slowing down to think before speaking—a principle especially relevant in modern fast-paced or online communication.
🙏🏿GOD’S OMNISCIENCE
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.
God sees human motives, secret actions, and the inner heart far more clearly than other people do. This serves as both a warning against hidden wrongdoing and a comfort to the righteous.

●Humility And Fear Of The Lord: The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor. True wisdom starts with recognizing God's authority rather than relying on self-importance.

Simple, honest living with love is portrayed as far better than wealth gained through trouble or corruption.
God actively defends the vulnerable, the poor, and the widow, while opposing the pride of the arrogant.
ACTION STEPS
• Pause Before Reacting: When someone speaks to us in anger or frustration, pause for five seconds and deliberately choose a calm, soft reply to de-escalate the tension.
• Practice Teachability: Identify one area in our lives where we hate receiving feedback, and actively ask a trusted person for their honest input today.
• Filter Our Speech: Before saying or posting something, ask ourselves if our words will act as a "tree of life" that builds up or a harsh word that crushes someone's spirit.
