Ten Years of Turning Pain into Purpose

Ten years ago, a spark was lit in the memory of Brock Haney. What began as a tribute to a life gone too soon has blossomed into a decade-long lifeline for our community.

Today, as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we aren't just looking back at the thousands of lives touched; we are looking forward to the thousands more who still need us.

The Decade of Impact

Over the last ten years, because of you, Brock Haney Inc. has:

* Restored Hope: Providing the "bridge" for families in their darkest hours.

* Empowered Youth: Creating opportunities where there were only obstacles.

* Built a Legacy: Ensuring that Brock’s spirit of kindness lives on in every life we reach.

The Anniversary Need: Our Next Decade Starts Today

The 10th anniversary is a milestone, but it is also a challenge. The needs of our community have grown, and our mission must grow to meet them. We are launching our "Decade of Difference" Fund to ensure that Brock Haney Inc. remains a permanent pillar of support.

We are asking you to make a "Legacy Gift" this year:

* $10 for 10: A simple monthly commitment to fuel our daily operations.

* $100 for 10: A gift to honor each year of service we've provided.

* $1,000+: A foundational gift to launch our new initiatives for 2026 and beyond.

* $10,000 A gift of hope and a gift that provides us with the means to impact our recovery community another 10 years!

"We can't change the past, but together, we have spent ten years proving that we can absolutely change the future."

Will You Be Part of the Story?

Brock Haney Inc. exists because a community decided that one life could inspire a million acts of kindness. Whether you have been with us since Day One or are joining us for the first time today, you are the reason we made it to ten years.

Help us celebrate by ensuring our doors stay open, our programs stay funded, and our light stays bright.

2026 marks the 10th year Anniversary of the From Brock Haney With Love Foundation. For ten years, the foundation in Brock's name through the generosity of benefactors nationwide, as supported LGBTQ+ recovery causes and provides over $100,000 in these efforts. We are just beginning!

Brock Richard Haney (October 16, 1990 – February 4, 2016)
Lake Worth, FL - Formerly of Middletown, New York, Brock Richard Haney, a Middletown native, died unexpectedly on February 4, 2016, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was 25. The son of Michael and Kym Haney, he was born on October 16, 1990, in Lowville, NY. Brock was currently working for L.A. Fitness in Lake Worth.

Brock is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Kym; his sister, Brittany; his brother, Barrett, and his loving nieces: Ava and Adalee, all at home in Middletown.

Brock's surviving family also includes his two grandmothers: Susanne Ferguson of Boynton Beach, Florida, and Marjorie Haney Hyde and her husband, Bud in Middletown, New York.

Brock is survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with even more extended family members and loving and caring friends.

Brock attended Goshen Christian School in Goshen, New York, and Chapel Field Christian High School in Pine Bush, New York. He graduated from Minisink Valley High School in 2009. In pursuit of his dream to become a pilot, he attended Everglades University in Sarasota, Florida.

While a student, Brock explored many interests, including track and field and cross-country running, drama, and music. Gifted with a sweet and talented voice, he sang in a variety of school programs, as well as coffee houses and churches. He even auditioned for the Fox television show, American Idol.

Brock enjoyed snowmobiling and yearly canoe trips in the Adirondacks in upstate New York. This time with his father and brother and uncles and cousins was something that Brock thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to.

His love for God and for God's people led him to travel on several short-term mission trips with Touch the World. He served the Lord as a short-term missionary in Bolivia, South America, and Uganda, Africa.

The details and statistics included here can hardly describe Brock Haney appropriately. Brock was loved by many people. He unconsciously put other people before himself. It required no effort on his part to think of others first. He lit up any room he entered, just by walking into it. His smile was contagious.

Brock routinely would say “Love you more!” when talking to his family and friends. He was not one to say “Goodbye,” but rather, “See you later.” His family is grateful for the assurance that they are not saying “Goodbye,” but “See you later, Brock. Love you more.”

Please consider a contribution on this 10th anniversary and allow us to continue to help our sisters and brothers who struggle in addiction.

Thank you,
Kevin, Jim and Bobby.

Tuesday's Grief Tip

By now you’ve answered the texts.
Smiled when expected.
Maybe even said “I’m okay” once or twice.

But grief doesn’t disappear just because the day has started.

It sits quietly between tasks.
Shows up when the noise pauses.

And reminds you that surviving the morning doesn’t mean the weight is gone.
If you’re functioning but still hurting....that counts too.

You’re not behind.
You’re not weak.
You’re just carrying love in a world that keeps asking you to move on.
