Bareilles is creating the music and lyrics, while Ruhl is writing the book, bringing to life the story of six friends who meet at an arts camp in the 1970s and follow each other’s lives through love, ambition and shifting dreams over decades.

The Broadway-bound musical has previewed songs including “Enough” at recent performances, giving fans a first glimpse of what’s ahead.
