This October, CHEER Fort Lauderdale honors the survivors, remembers those we have lost, and stands with everyone currently facing breast cancer.

Our hearts are with the LGBTQ+ community in Tucson following the horrific attack at Venture-N.

We mourn the lives of those taken, hold their loved ones close in our hearts, and stand with a community shaken by an act of violence directed at a place where LGBTQ+ people gathered to feel safe, connected, and accepted.

LGBTQ+ spaces have long been places where our community can find belonging and simply be ourselves. No one should ever have to enter those spaces wondering whether they will make it home safely.

To our LGBTQ+ family in Tucson, CHEER Fort Lauderdale stands with you. 🖤🏳️‍🌈

Our hearts remain with the communities of Seattle and Berlin.

We continue to mourn the lives lost, stand with those recovering, and hold their families, friends, and loved ones close in our thoughts.

Though these tragedies occurred under different circumstances, they remind us of something we should all be able to agree on: everyone deserves to gather without fear.

At CHEER Fort Lauderdale, we stand for safety, compassion, and community. Today and every day, we stand with those affected by violence and with every community working toward a future where everyone can gather in peace.

This year, we get to celebrate Sebastian and Jiheng with their baby boy, and our hearts could not be fuller. 🍼☀️

Sebastian has been part of the soul of Cheer Fort Lauderdale from the very beginning. An OG, a leader, a teammate, a chosen family member, and now, a father.

His journey into fatherhood is a beautiful reminder of what Pride has always been about: love, family, courage, and the freedom to build the life you once only dreamed of.

Today, we celebrate Sebastian, his husband, and all the dads, father figures, bonus dads, chosen family dads, and future dads in our community.
