Kitten season is rough. We are constantly taking in kittens, like this sweet girl, that come from less-than-ideal conditions. So much time, funding, and energy goes into making sure these babies get healthy.
What makes kitten season even rougher are the endless pleas for help. Our phones are constantly going off with emails from the shelter, tags in Facebook groups, and phone calls and text messages from Good Samaritans. We truly want to help every single kitten, but unfortunately, it is not possible.
To help make this kitten season a little bit easier for us, we ask that you please refrain from tagging us in posts. If you are seeing it, I guarantee you we have seen it already; the reason we do not have that kitten in our care is simply that we do not have the resources. Additionally, we ask that you DO NOT, under any circumstances, give out our phone numbers! These are our personal numbers. Having to see pleas for help every time we look at our phones from random people who shouldn't even have access to our numbers is exhausting.
Now, we are a rescue, so we will try to help whenever possible. If you found a kitten and need help, or know someone who did, please direct them toward the surrender form on our website. Once we receive a surrender form, we will reach out directly if we are able to help.
Thank you all for understanding and for helping to make this difficult time a little bit easier.
