EMS professionals serve communities across Minnesota 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing lifesaving care, supporting public health, and strengthening our emergency response system.

The Office of Emergency Medical Services extends its appreciation to the EMS professionals, educators, dispatchers, physicians, nurses, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and support personnel who make this work possible.

It’s that time of year, when sometimes ducklings find themselves in a predicament. A gentleman came to the station and reported ducklings trapped in a storm drain just down the street. The crew of Engine 1 C-Shift, with experience and teamwork, rescued a total of 10 ducklings. Both Mama and Papa duck were in the area impatiently waiting for us to leave. Local 5175 members are not only committed to protect and serve people-they protect and serve every member of the community, no matter how small! 🐥🦆
