🌵✨ Rockin' Mom's Night Out: Desert Nights! ✨🌵

One night. Two seriously fun experiences.
Friday night at the Rockin’ Mom Retreat, we’re taking over the desert for a night you won’t want to miss!

First stop: Rustler’s Rooste 🏜️
We’ll head just up the hill from Arizona Grand to one of Phoenix’s most unique dining destinations. Think panoramic views of the Valley, dinner, drinks, country western music, and plenty of Old West personality.

Then: Oasis After Dark 🌙
After dinner, we’re heading back to the resort - and Oasis Water Park is all ours for the evening! Float the lazy river under the Arizona night sky, enjoy the pools, grab a drink, or just hang out with friends while the water park is lit up after dark.

Dinner overlooking the desert + a private night at the water park + hundreds of Rockin’ Moms hanging out and having fun together. 💙

Still thinking about the Rockin’ Mom Retreat in Phoenix? 🌵

Maybe you've had the Rockin' Mom Retreat tab open on your phone. Maybe you've talked about it with a friend. Maybe you've looked at flights, checked the dates, or told yourself, "I'll decide later."

Well... later is here. 💛

Registration for the 2026 Rockin' Mom Retreat closes August 21.

And if there's a little part of you that keeps thinking, "I really want to go," we hope you'll listen to it.

Because for a few days in September...
☕️ You'll ease into the morning with a cup of coffee or start your day with one of our health & wellness sessions. (That's our retreat yoga session in photo 1!)

💙 You'll talk with moms who understand the hard things, celebrate the little things that are actually really BIG things, and just get it. (See photo 2. 💙)

☀️ You'll soak up the Arizona sunshine and cool off in the pool. (Photo 3 is just one of the SIX pools, plus waterpark, waiting for you at Arizona Grand!)

✨ You'll laugh. (See photo 4.)

💡 You'll learn. (Photo 5 is from the GLOBAL medical care and research roundtable.)

🌙 You'll stay up too late. Or sneak off to bed early because this is YOUR retreat and sleep sounds pretty great too! (And yes, that's your room in photo 6. Every room at Arizona Grand is a suite!)

💛 You'll have conversations you didn't know you needed. (See photo 7.)

🌴 And somewhere between the sessions, the sunshine, the late-night conversations and all the moments in between, you'll remember what it feels like to have a few days that are just for YOU. (That's photo 8.)

After serving as our Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Director, Jen Jacob is stepping back from the day-to-day leadership of this area. As a cofounder of DSDN, Jen has been part of this organization from the very beginning, and she’ll continue supporting our work behind the scenes and taking on special projects.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything Jen has poured into our Peer-to-Peer Fundraising program. Please help us thank Jen for all of her hard work and dedication!

With that transition, we’re also excited to welcome Jill Berron as our new Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Director! Jill has been part of our fundraising team for the last couple of years, coaching fundraisers and supporting our overall efforts, and we’re thrilled to have her step into this leadership role. Join us in giving Jill a warm welcome! 🎉

It’s official! Applications for DSDN’s 2026 Adoption Grants are open, and we don’t want eligible families to miss out!

If you adopted a child with Down syndrome between August 1, 2025, and July 31, 2026, and are a member of the Adoption Group in the DSDN Rockin’ Parent app, now is the time to apply.
