Join us for the Su***de Awareness Summit on Friday, September 25, 2026, at The Hyatt Lodge Conference Center in Oak Brook, Illinois. Community organizations are coming together again to create a day of learning, connection, and action in su***de awareness and prevention.

Attendees can earn up to 5 CEUs (Illinois social workers and counselors) or 5 CEUs/PDHs (Illinois educators), explore exhibitor tables, and connect with colleagues. Be part of this meaningful event and help advance education, collaboration, and empowerment in su***de awareness!

NAMI Metro Suburban's Living Rooms provide free, compassionate crisis support in welcoming, non-clinical environments designed specifically for individuals experiencing emotional distress, mental health challenges, or overwhelming life circumstances.

With 24/7 locations in La Grange and Summit, and access available daily from 12-8 PM in Oak Park, help is available when it’s needed most.

Compassion Resilience is a way to think about compassion at work as a resource that we can add to with our actions. This presentation helps those who care for others in their work learn how they can sustain their own mental and physical wellbeing while also providing compassionate care to their clients. We'll discuss which intentional self-care activities can actually help us build compassion resilience and create a personalized self-care plan.
