Oak Park Writers Group A place for writers to read and get great feedback that results in good writing! in the Oak Park Public Library at 834 Lake Street on the 2nd floor.

The Oak Park Writers' Group meets twice a month on each 1st and 3rd Thursday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. General discussion of writing experiences, opportunities and pitfalls followed by the reading and critiquing of new writing. All writers and non-writers alike are welcome.

The OPWG will be having a public reading at the Book Loft bookstore, 1047 Lake Street, on Sunday, August 16, at 2pm.

More information will be coming soon but polish up your best short stories and poetry.

April in person OPWG workshops will be held on Thursdays, April 2 and April 16. Both will be at 7pm at the OP main library.

The OPWG open mic in honor of National Poetry Month will be on Saturday, April 11 at 1pm at the OP main library, Veteran's Room.

Finally, there will be zoom workshop for longer pieces on Wednesday, April 15, at 7pm.
