Oak Park Area Lesbian and Gay Association + Out With Purpose, formerly OPALGA+, is one of the largest LGBTQ+ membership organizations in Illinois.

Berwyn’s Pride Walk is a celebration of Berwyn’s remarkable transformation into one of Chicago’s most culturally vibrant and diverse communities. Join us on June 27th, 2026, from 11 AM-1 PM for a walk across the Depot District as we come together to celebrate Pride month. All are welcome to recognize and celebrate during this great event!

The Berwyn Pride Walk begins with a gathering at Harlem & Windsor, just outside of The James Joyce Irish Pub at 11 AM where festive flags and items will be handed out.

We had a really great time making and selling donuts at the Oak Park Farmer's Market. This event has become an annual tradition for us and is one of our larger fundraising opportunities. Plus, it's just a lot of fun!

Tonight's the night!
Our June potluck is always an extra special time, as we really get to see the fruits of all of our June outreach pay off.

This is a great time to get to know your local LGBTQIA+ community in a casual way. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Tonight's potluck will be at will be at Brad and Paul's home (605 Iowa Street, Oak Park) from 7-10 pm. As always, bring a dish to share!

We had a great time showing our Pride at the various events around town this past week. You may have seen us at the River Forest Pride Walk, the Forest Park Pride Fest, or at a Day In Our Village.

We are grateful to be based in an area that sees the importance of such events. We can't wait for what the rest of the month brings!
