The Neighborhood Bridge was pleased to join community leaders and partners for the ribbon cutting of the new Austin HOPE Center.

The nearly 25,000-square-foot facility, whose name stands for Healing, Opportunity, Partnerships and Equity, brings pediatric specialty care, behavioral health services, financial education, youth and family programming, and other community resources together in one location at 5036 W. Chicago, IL 60651.

The Center is the result of a partnership that includes Stone Community Development Corporation, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives, Wintrust Bank, and Thresholds.

Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this important new resource to Austin!

Before you throw it away, see if you can fix it!
The Repair Café offers to fix broken household items like lamps, vacuums, jewelry, clothing, and other household goods for free.

Open 10:00 AM–1:30 PM on the first Saturday of each month at Fox Park Center, 624 S. Oak Park Avenue.

Repairing and reusing items helps reduce waste, conserve resources, and reduce products in landfills. Also, it brings neighbors together to share skills, solve problems, and strengthen our sense of community.

Gather. Grow. Connect. ❤️

The Neighborhood Bridge recently brought our Volunteer Advocates together for an Advocate Gather & Grow. This event is for connecting, learning, sharing experiences, and strengthening relationships that make our work possible.

Our Volunteer Advocates are at the heart of The Neighborhood Bridge. They walk alongside local families, helping them navigate challenges, connect with resources, and find pathways toward greater stability and opportunity. Supporting our community starts with supporting one another.

Thank you to our incredible Volunteer Advocates for being the bridge!
