Recently, several of our female residents attended Missouri Miss Amazing, an organization dedicated to empowering girls and women with disabilities through confidence-building experiences and community connection.

The smiles say it all! We're grateful for opportunities like these that allow the individuals we serve to celebrate who they are, make new friends, and enjoy new experiences.

Our residents recently had the opportunity to attend a Planetarium Star Party, where they explored the night sky through telescopes and learned more about the wonders of space.

From spotting celestial objects to discovering fascinating facts about our universe, the evening was filled with curiosity, learning, and excitement. Experiences like these encourage lifelong learning while providing meaningful opportunities to engage with the community and try something new.

Last year, our residents had the incredible opportunity to take their annual trip to Philadelphia—an experience filled with exploration, independence, laughter, and lasting memories.

Our residents were proud to attend and participate in the Step Up for Down Syndrome awareness walk hosted by the Gateway Down Syndrome Association at Forest Park.

This incredible event brought together thousands of individuals, families, and community partners in celebration, advocacy, and support for people with Down syndrome. From the awareness walk to the festival activities, it was a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusion and community connection.
