Waffles and Bramble ❤️🐾 best friends 🐾
Not too long ago each of these boys had a similar story, strays wondering the streets almost unrecognizable with a full coat of matted fur.
A volunteer dedicated to getting off the street, no chip and no one to claim after stray hold, rescue needed, vet appointments and care, grooming appointments, and training.
A lot goes into “rescue” from time, to funds,
dedication, adopters, and forever ❤️🐾
You may have noticed we did not have our once a year fundraiser gala this year :(
While it is so needed to raise funds for our budget for the following year to continue, the funds were not there to even think about having a gala this year.
We tossed and turned with the event planning and we decided the risk of spending the money to have the gala in hopes to raise the funds needed would put already committed dogs or unexpected vet care at risk. To us, that isn’t a risk we are willing to take as when we say “yes” to a dog, that means it is our responsibility to have the funds for whatever saying yes looks like to better the dogs life.
This year instead of a gala and getting all dressed up, we are asking you to donate directly to our group or veterinarian accounts for care.
November 12 and 13th we are having a gratitude open house from 11-6pm
If you have adopted from us, we would love to have you stop by and take a photo with your rescue pooch living their best life because of you.
