Come to the session that works for you.

Enjoy this free class with instruction from an experienced photographer! Students will take photos, including a visit to the barn for animal photos. The session will finish with instruction on how to properly edit your captures.

Portions of the storm last night seemed to light up the entire farm, and the birds had something to say about it!
Enjoy the slow motion of the bolt at the end, seeing how it branches off in so many directions is a cool sight!

Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the Spring Plant Sale with us! Especially to all our volunteers, and Telly’s Greenhouse for their donation of annuals!

We experienced a great turn out, with all proceeds going to the upkeep and preservation of the gardens here at Tollgate!

The gardens here on the farm can be visited 7 days a week (excluding paid entry event days) so be sure to peruse and see first hand where your support goes!

The MSU Tollgate Garden Volunteers have been hard at work preparing for the Spring Plant Sale tomorrow! This isn’t an event you’ll want to miss!

Stop by tomorrow, from 9am-2pm, for a selection of hardy perennials and the opportunity to support MSU Tollgate Horticultural Gardens.

A big thank you to Telly’s Greenhouse and Garden Center, for their donation of annuals to add to this wonderful fundraiser! We love the chance to provide more variety and blooms to those who will share the day with us tomorrow🌼

We’re abuzz with excitement!

Join Michigan State University Extension for one or more beekeeping workshops, Thursday June 25th and Thursday July 23rd, hosted here at MSU Tollgate Farm!

These hands-on sessions will cover hive handling, colony inspection, and seasonal beekeeping management. Workshops are open to beginning and experienced beekeepers. Participants are welcome to sign up for one or multiple workshops.
