Captain Theisen was able to assist this adorable Novi resident who accidentally entered a neighbors home. This might be the first time in history the Captain didn’t take a selfie with a call like this.

It has come to our attention that our brothers and sisters at the Novi Police Officers Association were upset from our previous post, mocking them about wanting to have the best profession in the world as a career firefighter. Our Union president has made an official statement linked below.

We have filed a police report with the Michigan State Police for graffiti to our beloved white board on the command vehicle today.

The Novi Professional Fire Fighters claim we want to play fire fighter for the day🤔…. why would we want the #2 spot, when we are already #1!

Even your whiteboard understands 😂

Almost daily our friends at Novi Police Officers Association ask us to either sit in a fire engine or “let them pull the big air horn”. 99% of the time we say no, but this 1% we gave in. The extreme joy we were able to provide these two officers to play firefighter will warm your heart.

What an incredible time we had at the Community Cool Off yesterday afternoon!

We were absolutely thrilled to see so many smiling faces. Beating the summer heat with massive water sprays from Tower 1 was exactly what the doctor ordered.

It was great seeing our community come out and have fun together. Whether you were running through the water or just enjoying the spectacular display, we hope you had a refreshing afternoon.

A huge thank you to everyone of all ages who brought a towel, got soaked, and spent the day with us.

While we loved helping everyone cool off today, please remember to stay safe during these high heat days. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and take plenty of breaks if you are working outdoors.

The Novi Professional Fire Fighters Union is incredibly proud to serve the citizens, visitors and businesses of Novi.
