Baby Bear ministers to our Norwood Community, by providing every kind of gear a 0-5 year old child care provider would need. It’s ran by volunteers and donations. We provide a meal and community time as well. Last night 38 families were registered, Roger Sanders and his wife Jerri from Grace and Truth Church Cincinnati provided the meal, an all American cook out! Thank you.
Sherri Willin Terry supplied the table decorations and snacks for the registry room.
Lyz, Ashley and their team did all the operations work preparing the “shop” for comfortable ease in shopping. Nina Eli is a shopper who stays late and helps us clean up afterwards. John Jane Holiday provide man power in entertaining children while their parents shop, and as personal shoppers, as dinner companions and translating for our Spanish speaking neighbors and help with clean up.
Lois Schneider is a personal shopper who many shoppers and volunteers look forward to catching up with on a monthly basis.

Last night we saw many of our regular shoppers, some new shoppers and a 1 week old baby!
The kids played basketball, rode scooters, made crafts played on toddler toys and ate plenty of snacks while their care providers shopped.
Many of us who serve say that while we are praying and hoping our shoppers experience shalom we find much peace in serving as well.
Stay tuned, Baby Bear will be celebrating its 100th shopping event in Norwood in a few months!
