We each do a little, we all do a lot. We support two businesses each time we do a cash mob. First we pick a business that sells goods (maybe services, but I'm not sure how well that works yet). Then we pick a day and time to all go there and spend roughly $20. After that we go to the after-mob at a local restaurant or coffee shop to partake in their goods and socialize. What makes a good candidate
for a Cash Mob?
+ The business is locally owned and not a corporation, a mom and pop place.
+ If you went to the location you could meet or be helped by the owner.
+ There are a wide selection of goods that are $20 or less.
+ A wide selection of the population would want to buy the goods- merchandise that appeals to men and women and usually kids too.
+ The location of the business is somewhere near Norwood, Ohio. Neighborhoods including, but not limited to, Oakley, Hyde Park, Mt. Lookout, Columbia Tusculum, Pleasant Ridge, Madisonville, O'Bryonville, De Sales Corner, etc. etc. How is a location picked? Sometimes I will have a few ideas have the page fans vote. Sometimes I will have a business nominated by another business owner. Sometimes a fan of the page or a person I talk to will recommend a business. What are the rules? Spend $20, or less, or more. Cash, credit, check- whatever you please. Meet three people you didn’t know before
HAVE FUN!!! Why is it called Cash Mob if you don't need to spend actual cash? Cash rhymes with Flash and it was inspired by Flash Mobs. You do not need to actually spend cash. Any form of payment that the business accepts is great. Credit card Mob just doesn't have the same ring as Cash Mob. Want to know more? Check out www.cashmobs.wordpress.com
