Norwood Business & Professional Women's Club

Our monthly meetings allow us time to work on our service activities. Our programs have included performances by Norwood school groups; presentations by subject experts on a variety of topics and other educational or fun activities. Since

1935, our primary annual fund-raiser is Norwood Day, a summer picnic and community celebration that has become a highlight for Norwood residents. The funds raised help our club support many community projects. We also present Norwood Christmas Town annually on the first Saturday in December. This community festival along Elm Avenue and surrounding streets offers free carriage and carousel rides; items for sale by community crafters; food booths; beer tent; carolers; and a chance for children to meet with Santa Claus. The women who belong to our club either live or work in Norwood, Ohio, or formerly lived or worked here. While we have a serious purpose, our club is also about friendship and fun. We endowed three scholarships presented annually to girls graduating from Norwood High School, administered through the Norwood High School Scholarship Foundation.
