Freestore Foodbank, Xavier University & City of Norwood partnered to distribute 1000 emergency food boxes to the community on Thursday, April 09, 2020 at the Norwood Shopping Plaza (behind Cintas Center - 3800 Montgomery Road, Norwood, OH 45212). Included in the box are staples like peanut butter, spaghetti and sauce, canned fruits & vegetables, oatmeal, chili and other items.

Distribution will begin at 10:00 AM and will be a drive through food distribution line. In order to receive food, you must clear the trunk of your vehicle prior to the distribution. For safety reasons, we cannot enter someone’s vehicle to load food and you must remain in your vehicle to receive food.

Good morning Norwood collaborators!

Hope this finds you well today. Words don't really do justice to all that has been happening, and I don't blame you if you are already suffering from Zoom fatigue, but it is a good way to touch base and share any updates that can be helpful during this challenging time. Please join us as you are able next Wednesday, April 8, at 10am: https://zoom.us/j/726718557.

Need a little Christmas help?

New City Presbyterian Church is running a Christmas Store on Dec. 9 to help local families in need to purchase Christmas presents for their kids. Families would pay $7 per child and come shop for a toy (worth about $20) and a clothing item (also about $20).

Families must register, and the deadline to do so is Nov. 21 — that's next Tuesday. To register: email [email protected].
