Are you looking for a way to help your Norwalk neighbors this Thanksgiving?! We've got an opportunity for individuals or groups to help set a Thanksgiving table for our Norwalk neighbors who use NAMA's food pantry in November. https://signup.com/go/bvTxDea

The Pantry provides delicious fixings for Thanksgiving meals and we need your help to provide the sides! Put together a small box or bag with the specific ingredients listed in the signup and drop off the individual bundles in the NAMA drop boxes located at the Norwalk Easter Public Library, City Hall or New Life Lutheran Church or contact us to coordinate a drop off time/location. Bundles are due by November 15 so they can be distributed prior to Thanksgiving.

NAMA would like to give a special shout-out to Dan Ginther of WoodmenLife for helping us organize and improve the efficiency of our Shoe Love closet! He provided rolling racks, a label maker and storage so we can be super efficient when serving our community!

Shoe Love is our annual back-to-school event that equips Norwalk students with new shoes, socks, and underwear so they can head into the school year feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to do their best learning.

Thanks to Dan’s time, willingness to help, and a little funding from his employer, he's helping Shoe Love run even more smoothly than ever!

We’re so grateful for community partners like Dan and WoodmenLife who work hard to support local organizations. When the community comes together, amazing things happen! ❤️

The application for NAMA's Joyful Giving Christmas event closes this Sunday, October 18 at midnight!

If your family is facing a financial shock this holiday season and would benefit from a little extra Christmas help, please check out the information below.

Joyful Giving is for families who live in the Norwalk Community School District and students who attend Norwalk schools.

Our goal is to bring joy to households with children who are experiencing a financial shock or ongoing struggle. We partner with local churches and the community, to provide sustainable care for our Norwalk neighbors who are facing financial struggles or setbacks.

Must have children in high school or younger living in the home.

Signup deadline is October 18, 2026
