Thankful for community partners and a sharing of abundance. We’ve got a lot of corn to give away on Thursday! Distribution starts at 2 pm.

On June 19th, we served 117 families, there were 11 new families, providing food to a total of 334 people.

Pantry needs include:
Canned Meals, ie Chef Boyardee
Manwich or Sloppy Joe Mix
Cereal
Soup

Thanks to all who donate their time and financial support to the pantry. This week we had a group of volunteers who came and were a great help and fun time was had. If you have a group or you would like to help out too, the pantry is open from 2 - 7 each Thursday, stop by, we will find a job for you. We are hosted by New Life Lutheran Church at 4380 Wakonda Dr. south side entrance.

On Thursday (6.5), the Norwalk Area Food Pantry served 99 families, including 4 new households, providing food for 278 people.

📊 Big Impact at the Norwalk Area Food Pantry!

Over the past eight weeks, the Norwalk Area Food Pantry (a ministry of the Norwalk Area Ministerial Association) has seen a big increase in need—and an incredible response from you, dear Norwalk!

💛 From March 6 to April 24: • Families served increased by over 30%
• People served increased by more than 33%
• We’re now serving an average of 107 families and 327 people every week
• On April 24 alone, we served 121 families, including 11 new families, and reached 374 individuals
• 103 families received essential pantry items like paper products and hygiene supplies—and 7 families came just for that support

Your generosity, donations, and prayers help us keep the shelves stocked and hope alive. Thank you for caring so deeply for our neighbors. ❤️

The Norwalk Area Food Pantry (NAFP), a ministry of the Norwalk Area Ministerial Association (NAMA), served 106 families on February 20th, including 10 new families, providing food to a total of 331 people!

This was also the first month that NAMA moved Essential Giving (formerly Warrior Giving) from Norwalk Christian Church to New Life Lutheran Church, aligning the distribution of essential items with pantry food pickup. This transition was a great success—helping families access both food and necessities in one stop.

✅ 100 essential product bags were distributed:
🔹 21 to those picking up essential items only
🔹 79 to families receiving both food and essential products

🐔 Canned or Packaged Tuna/Chicken
🧀 Mac & Cheese
🥣 Cereal

A special thank you to the Norwalk High School girls wrestling team, as well as a few moms and kids on winter break, for volunteering this week. Your time and energy made a big impact! 🙌💪
