💜 Every Step Makes a Difference. Every Survivor Matters. 💜

Join us for the 24th Annual Victory for Victims Walk/Run on Saturday, November 14, 2026, and help bring hope, healing, and justice to survivors in our community.

Whether you choose the 10K, 5K, 1-Mile Dog Walk, or Kids Fun Run, you'll be standing alongside survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, and human trafficking. Together, we can ensure they receive compassionate, trauma-informed care when they need it most.

The Center for Assault Treatment Services (CATS) provides free, 24/7 forensic medical care and interviews for survivors throughout the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys. Every registration, donation, and fundraising page helps provide critical services that change lives. In 2025 alone, CATS served about 900 survivors, including 520 children.

The Northridge Hospital Medical Center’s Pediatric Department, Children’s at Northridge, Reunion was a beautiful reminder that exceptional care extends far beyond a hospital stay. It’s about the relationships we build, the families we support, and the journeys we celebrate together.

We’re grateful to Senator Rubio and the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office for inviting CATS Director Gina D’Aquilla to Sacramento to support SB 1276 — critical legislation aimed at strengthening protections for children.

Gina had the opportunity to testify before the Senate Public Safety Committee at the State Capitol, sharing the frontline perspective of forensic nurses and the realities faced by the children we serve every day.

This is meaningful progress. Thoughtful legislation like SB 1276 helps close gaps, strengthens accountability, and moves us closer to a system that better protects children and supports survivors.

Happy National Public Health Week! 🥳 This week, April 6-12, is a fantastic opportunity to champion the health of all Americans, and we couldn't be prouder to celebrate the incredible team at our Center for Healthier Communities here at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.

Our dedicated Coordinators truly embody the spirit of public health, working tirelessly to ensure everyone in our community can lead healthier lives, regardless of where they live, work, or come from.
