Community Support Makes Blackstone Valley Festival of Trees a Resounding Success
Blackstone Valley, MA — The Blackstone Valley Emergency Shelter (BVES) is proud to thank the community for making the 2025 Blackstone Valley Festival of Trees an overwhelming success. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, volunteers, businesses, and attendees, this year’s fundraiser brought neighbors together in the true spirit of the season—supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness across the Blackstone Valley.
From beautifully decorated trees and festive activities to enthusiastic bidding and community engagement, the event showcased what is possible when a community comes together for a shared purpose. Proceeds from the Festival of Trees directly support BVES programs that provide emergency shelter, temporary housing assistance, and critical support services to those in crisis.
BVES is also excited to announce the winner of the 2025 “Best Tree in the Valley” award: Blackstone Valley Rotary.
Their golf-themed tree, “Golfing for Good,” captured the spirit of creativity and generosity, featuring an impressive $2,700 worth of golf packages and themed swag. The tree was a crowd favorite and a powerful example of how local organizations can make a meaningful impact through imagination and community leadership.
“We are incredibly grateful for the Blackstone Valley Rotary and for everyone who participated in this year’s Festival of Trees,” said BVES leadership. “Every tree, every ticket, and every donation helps us continue our mission of providing safety, dignity, and hope to our neighbors in need.”
BVES extends heartfelt thanks to all sponsors, tree designers, volunteers, vendors, and community members who helped make this event such a success. Together, the Blackstone Valley is proving that compassion and community truly go hand in hand.
