Twiggy's Story

Meet Twiggy! This sweet 2-year-old girl may start out as a bit of a wallflower, but once she feels comfortable, her loving personality truly shines. Twiggy absolutely adores human interaction and is a total sweetheart who loves soft pets--and if you let her, she'll even perch right up on your shoulder to be close to you!

Having lived a hard life as a stray, Twiggy is so deserving of a peaceful forever family ready to pamper, spoil, and treasure her. She gets along well with other feline friends, but she would also be perfectly happy reigning as your cherished one-and-only.

She would likely do fine with a gentle, cat-friendly dog after a slow and proper introduction. Twiggy is a wonderful match for adults or families with kids ages 8 and up who can offer a cozy, loving home.

📣ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT!📣
🐾 DOUBLE ADOPTION: BROCCOLI & SQUEAKIE HEAD HOME TOGETHER! 🐾

We have another wonderful double adoption to celebrate as Broccoli and Squeakie set off on their big new adventure as forever siblings! Their new adopters, a father and son team, visited the shelter looking to add friendly, affectionate, and active feline companions to their home. From the moment they met this pair, the connection was instant! Broccoli immediately bonded with the son, while Squeakie made himself right at home curling up in Dad's lap before hopping over to the son's lap for even more snuggles. After spending time getting to know a few other residents, they returned to verify what they already knew in their hearts: Broccoli and Squeakie were the ultimate dream team! Broccoli and Squeakie hopped smoothly into their carriers and are now settling into their new life, where they’ll enjoy endless affection, play, and lap time with their wonderful new family. Congratulations to Broccoli, Squeakie, and their family on this fantastic match! 🏠💖✨

Vine's Story

Meet Vine! This gorgeous 1-year-old dark tortoiseshell beauty is a quiet, gentle soul looking for a special place to call her own. Found as a stray, she is learning all about humans and realizing that hands are for love and gentle pets.

The bustling shelter environment can be a bit overwhelming for a sensitive girl like Vine, but she is making progress every day and will willingly accept a few sweet chin scratches when she feels safe.

Vine is searching for an understanding, patient adopter who recognizes that true trust is built step-by-step. While she is still settling in, we know that once she gets out of the shelter and into a peaceful forever home where she can own her space, her confidence will blossom and her true personality will shine.

She would do wonderfully in a home as a solo pet or as a roommate to another cat or a gentle, respectful dog who gives her space. Any children in the home should be ages 12 and up and understand how to read feline body language.
