North Prairie - NPAA

Happy National Coaches Day! ❤️🖤

Today we’re celebrating the incredible volunteer coaches who make NPAA possible! ⚾🥎⚽

Our coaches give their time, energy, patience, and heart to our athletes—not just teaching them how to play the game, but encouraging teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and a love of the game along the way.

To every coach who has stepped up for our baseball, softball, and soccer players: THANK YOU! Your impact reaches far beyond the field, and we are so grateful for everything you do for our athletes, families, and North Prairie community.

Help us celebrate our coaches today by giving your favorite NPAA coach a shoutout in the comments! 👏❤️🖤

Another thing we’re proud of at the NPAA is our “Referee Training Program.” This program gets young athletes in our area opportunities to learn how to ref and get on the field. Many of our young refs are current or former Nighthawks. Hoping we can get them confident and comfortable so they continue reffing for many years. Last night, Daniel had his first game with big bro Aaron as the head ref. Thanks all for your support of teaching and growing referees as well as players!

🍁 NPAA at North Prairie Harvest Fest! 🍁

What a fun weekend getting to be part of our North Prairie community! ⚾⚽️

A huge thank you to all of our NPAA players, families, coaches, and board members who joined us for the Harvest Fest Parade — we loved seeing all that red & black walking through town! ❤️🖤

And of course, thank you to everyone who stopped by the NPAA Dunk Tank on Sunday! 💦 Whether you took a turn in the tank or helped send someone swimming, we had a blast!

We love getting to show up for the community that supports NPAA all year long. Thanks for a great Harvest Fest weekend, North Prairie! 🍁🍂

Come celebrate Harvest Fest with NPAA! ❤️🖤

Harvest Fest is happening September 18th–20th, and we’re excited to be part of the fun on Sunday! NPAA athletes and families are invited to walk with us in the Harvest Fest Parade — throw on your NPAA gear (or anything red!) and come represent our teams and community!

Then after the parade… we’re breaking out the DUNK TANK! 💦🎯 Stop by from 1–5 PM to take your best shot — or, even better, volunteer to be the one getting dunked!

We’re looking for volunteers to fill our 30-minute dunk tank slots. Kids can absolutely sign up too, as long as they have parent/guardian approval and a parent or guardian is present during their time in the tank.

👉 Sign up to get DUNKED:

Come walk with us, dunk your friends (or your kids 😏), and spend the weekend celebrating our North Prairie community! ❤️🖤

As another soccer season begins, let’s all remember why we play and why we sign our kids up for sports! Here’s a few “Pro Parent Tips” to help us all have an enjoyable soccer season. Thanks for your continued help in our mission to build community through sports!

This last weekend one of our longtime Nighthawk baseball players (Kaden) made the play of his life catching a foul ball at a Savannah Bananas game in MN. In “Banana Ball” if a fan catches a foul ball, the batter is out! Congrats Kaden on becoming the first Nighthawk to record a professional baseball out! Woot woot!

Hey Nighthawks! The Genesee Rebels won their Quarterfinal Playoff Game on Sunday with a walk-off 3run homerun to advance to the Final Four / Semi Finals in the Land O Lakes playoffs. Last night, Kenosha defeated Waterford which means the game will be played at Genesee Town Park on Saturday! Two wins away from a championship. Good baseball and great family fun.

Well, Rebs fans we got our wish for one more home game! Next Saturday, August 15th we host the loaded Kenosha Kings in a Final Four matchup. Winner advances to the Grand Championship on Sunday. Tell your friends, family members, neighbors, and anyone who loves baseball. We will see you at Genesee Town Park one more time. Two wins to a championship. Let’s go Rebs!

Got plans Sunday? Show the kids that local town ball doesn’t have to stop as you get older and join Sports Director Matt DeMarais and the Genesee Rebels for their last home game of the year. It’s a second round playoff game Sunday at noon at Genesee Town Park. Free family fun with good baseball, great concession stand and a fun park for the littlest fans.
